Taiwan and
China will hold their latest round of talks under a bilateral platform on
cooperation in supervising the banking sector in Nantou county in central
Taiwan next week.
The fifth
meeting of the cross-strait Banking Supervisory Cooperation Platform will be
held on Sept. 14, with basic banking services, credit guarantee systems and
online personal loans among the issues on the agenda, according to Taiwan's
Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC).
The meeting
will be attended by FSC chair Tseng Ming-chung and his Chinese counterpart
Shang Fulin, chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission.
