One
official has been sacked and another is under investigation in central China's
Hubei province for discipline violations, local authorities said on Monday.
Lu Lijun,
deputy director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration
Commission of Hubei, was removed from his post for a "serious violation of
discipline", according to the website of the discipline watchdog of the
provincial committee of the Communist Party.
Lu was also
sacked from his post as party chief of the Hubei Qingneng real estate company.
The website
also confirmed that Li Ping'an, deputy chief of the commerce bureau of
Huanggang, was being investigated for serious breach of party discipline.
