Two dancers from Myanmar perform an ancient Myanmarese dance during a cultural show at the Gedung Kesenian Jakarta, on Monday. With the support of Myanmar Embassy in Jakarta, the cultural show was jointly organized by Myanmar’s Ministry of Culture and the ASEAN Secretariat. The performance, which has the theme “The Royal Beauty of Golden Myanmar”, was the fourth in the Best of ASEAN Performing Arts series that was proposed by ASEAN Secretary General Surin Pitsuwan. The previous performances were from Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. JP/Nurhayati
